Superhero 5k/Family Fun Run

April 24, 2022

In the three short years that the Dauphin County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program has been operational- recruiting, training, educating, and supervising committed members of our community- to advocate in our Dependency Court for the best interests of children who have been abused and neglected, our volunteers have promptly risen to become local SUPERHEROES! And on April 24th of 2022, we called upon the collective forces within our community so that we may reach even more children in need of support! Thank you for grabbing your cape for our Superhero 5k/Family Fun Run at the Bishop McDevitt High School. We hope that you had fun on your mission. Photos can be shared with the hashtag #iamaDCCASAhero

OUR SUPERHEROES
To raise awareness about the plight of children who have been abused and neglected and to honor our volunteers who are making a difference through the CASA program, please consider donating to our Superhero 5k/Family Fun Run campaign. Indeed, we all suited up with Official BBQ, LLC. food truck, PA Farm Show milkshakes, Mimm Entertainment, face painting, touch-a-trucks, bounce house, and MORE! Together, we are making this world a bit safer for children.

Participants can still ask their fans to donate to Dauphin County CASA in honor of their run. When fans contribute, just let us know that it is for the Superhero 5K campaign and type the name of the registrant being honored. If you are really inspired, create a “Super Squad” name and recruit family and friends to donate in your crusade to assist Dauphin County CASA to advocate for children who are in the foster care system.
